The renovation of the James E. Rogers school revitalized an unoccupied historical school building in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. While respecting the history and context of the original structure, the renovations brought the building up to 21st century standards in terms of energy efficiency, health and welfare, technology, and practical program spaces for the Environmental Charter School.
